Keys to Success is a great site to address many college and career questions you may have.

“The purpose of Keys to Success is to motivate students to unlock their future by connecting them with scholarships, internships, and opportunities that match their career interests.”

To begin an account go to https://www.ktsutah.org/ and select Create an Account. Follow the steps provided. Once an account is created students can return to Keys to Success to take interest inventories, find information about specific careers, locate scholarship and internship opportunities, and gain and redeem points for prizes.

How to Look Up Grades

Tooele County School District uses Skyward to record all student grades. To access your Skyward account go to: https://www.tooeleschools.org/ Click on the button on the upper right side that says SKYWARD.

For students account:                           

Username= First name.Last name     

Password = You created the password (If you forget your password call the Help Desk 435-884-7799)        

Once you have accessed your account, go to Gradebook in the left column.  If you click on the letter grade this will show you the individual assignments for the class and the score.

Tips to be Successful in School

Getting and staying organized is an important skill to help you be successful in school.

Organizational tips:

1. Keep your backpack clean and neat.  Clean backpack at least once a week
2. Use pocket folders for handouts, homework, and papers. Use a pocket folder for each class.
3. Make “To Do” lists and cross things off when they are done.
4. Before going to bed, get everything ready for the next day.

Study tips and ideas:

1. Select a consistent place and time to study
2. Don’t wait until the last minute
3. Stay organized throughout the year
4. Make study cards
5. Make your own study guide
6. Talk about assignments with friends
7. If you are struggling, ask for help
8. Make academics a focus in your life

Extracurricular Activities

Ambassador Squad/Kiwanis Builders Club - Ambassadors are a student organization committed to creating a positive school environment.  We focus on showing Respect, developing Empathy, and Celebrating Diversity as we collectively take a stand against bullying. Dice and Dragons Game Club- Table top Dice Games. Meets Wed. 3-5pm Rm #21, Mr. Brewer cbrewer@tooeleschools.org.

Game/eSports Chess Club – Learn chess strategy and tactics, compete against other students, and play other strategy games and board games.  Meets Thursdays afterschool until 4pm Room #25 Mr. Sumner: msumner@tooeleschools.org
